The Pexus SA 1000 - powered by IBM
Tivoli Software is a ready to deploy application monitoring
server software appliance running in a VMware ESX network that
can be quickly plugged into your environment and also easily
instantiated into multiple network environments such as
development, testing, staging and final production environment.
Pexus SA1000 offers the flexibility to deploy the solution to
your choice of x86 based servers. It can be deployed into your
data center or public cloud such as Amazon ECS or public and
private cloud built on Open
Stack.
The Pexus SA 1000 comes with its own software router based on -
Vyatta, an easily
configured DNS server, ITM
server and ITCAM
for Application Diagnostics Server. Optionally you can add a
reporting server (Tivoli
Common Reporting based on BIRT) and an optional
Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows Server virtual image with
Tivoli Enterprise Portal client and other management utilities.
The Pexus SA 1000 is cost effective and deploys quickly. The
appliance comes with documentation and scripts to replicate or
instantiate the network into another environment quickly and
lets customers rapidly deploy a monitoring infrastructure into
development, testing or staging environments. After plugging the
software appliance into the network, agents can be installed on
target systems from the depot or manually.

class systems running VMware ESX hypervisor.Pexus
